Am I Eligible?

Age Requirements: 18 years of Age
Minimum Period of Residency: N/A
Endorsement: Elected official and a Notary course trainer
Other: Exam for non attorneys. Must possess a high school diploma and be fluent in English.

Application and Bond Filing Procedures

  • Order a state Notary Bond from the NNA or other provider.
  • Send your Notary application to the Office of Probate Judge of your county.
  • Send a copy of your Letter from the Office of Probate Judge to the National Notary Association or whoever is supplying your bond.
  • Your Notary Bond will be sent to you.
